The PVSD Foundation organizes a variety of events throughout the year to raise funds. Those events include:

Boon Supply (formerly Mixed Bag Designs)

The PVSD Foundation also raises funds through the sale of products from Boon Supply (formerly Mixed Bag Designs). Our next sale is open through Nov. 9, 2020. Get some holiday shopping out of the way early – browse the catalog for bags and accessories, gift wrap, organizational items, and products for the kitchen/home. Go to boonsupply.com/57856 to shop and order. Everything will be delivered to your home address and your purchase will benefit the Foundation.

Dodgeball Tournament

For the last 11 years, the PVSD Foundation has organized a Dodgeball Tournament that brings out hundreds of families to participate in an evening of spirited competition. This year’s event was held on March 7 and raised over $19,000 for the Foundation. Over 80 student teams participated. Prizes were awarded to the top teams in each division, as well as to those with the best team name and the best dressed. Winners included:

  • Best Team Dress: CEOs of Dodgeball
  • Best Name: Game is Throws
  • Mini Division: Team Venom
  • Minor Division: Disco Derby Dodgers
  • Medium Division: Ball of Duty
  • Major Division: Philly Philly

Harlem Wizards

The Harlem Wizards returned to Perkiomen Valley School District on Nov. 16, 2019. Thank you to all who participated in this event and helped the Foundation to raise over $11,000! We look forward to hosting the Wizards again in 2021.

SAT Prep

The PVSD Foundation is currently working to secure a partnership with an online SAT tutoring service. Please check back here for updates and information.

Rally for the Valley

In November 2019, the PVSD Foundation was proud to host the kick-off event for the school district’s Rally for the Valley capital campaign initiative. During this event held at Parc Bistro in Skippack, we hosted a crowd of community members who support the district’s plans to install synthetic turf athletic fields at Thomas J. Keenan Stadium, the current baseball field, and behind the high school. The kick-off event was meant to generate enthusiasm and funding for these projects. With the closure of schools due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is uncertain how plans may move forward, but the Foundation is prepared to support when the time is right.
